Wanda Caro has lived in mainland USA since 1981. In Tennessee, as a stay at home mom she considered oil painting as a hobby and got very enthusiastic about it. Children are much older now and having more time and space to paint, oils have taken over! Memphis offered her the opportunity to study with talented artists such as Mary Pera and Sandee Sander. Wanda holds a BBA degree from the University of Puerto Rico and attended Lamar University in Texas. Her preference for bright, bold and sunny colors of the tropical isles sneaks in constantly in many of her paintings. Subject matter is seldom the same since it reflects her wondering attitude and interests.
