Yvonne Garcia Denbina opened the Garden of the Dragonfly, a Fine Art Consignment Gallery,
in April 2005.
Yvonne earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree
from the University of Houston, was a student of
William Anzalone, and has exhibited work in watercolors, acrylics and oils at St. Luke’s Episcopal
Hospital and
Chase Tower, downtown
Houston,
as well as
painted commissioned works for
individuals and institutions.
She previously worked for C.G. Rein Galleries in Houston, as an art consultant. Her work appears in private
homes in Texas, Louisiana and Georgia.
The Gallery affords an opportunity for talented artists to exhibit their work in the
beautiful setting of Old Town
Spring with shopping, dining and entertainment
venues in the same location. Original pieces in glass, jewelry,
wood, sculpture
in metal, wire, and ceramic, textiles and paper are on exhibit and for sale, along
with paintings
in acrylic, oil, encaustic, bondo and watercolor. Many dragonfly
gift items are available. Special Exhibitions,
Artist appearances and Art Walks
are regularly scheduled.
The Garden of the Dragonfly also exhibits original art in two locations in The
Woodlands. Selected artists’ work
may be seen and purchased at The Law Firm of Stewart & Wiley and The Woodlands Integrated Medical
Associates. The Garden of the Dragonfly is a place of healing, tranquility and beauty.
Healing Touch is available by appointment. Essential Oils are utilized in healing sessions.
